Mission Statement

“Dedicated to the Education and Rehabilitation of Amputees through Golf”

The OAGA is made up of individuals who have experienced and overcome the loss of a limb or limbs.   We are dedicated to the education and rehabilitation of amputees through golf.   We also offer non-professional information about amputations, services and mentors.

Annual Amputee Golf Tournament

Omaha Amputee Golf Association’s annual event, held every August, is a 3-day event full of fun, camaraderie, prizes and of course great golf!

The event starts on Friday with a 4-Person Best-Ball Scramble which is open to ALL golfers, Non-Amputees and Amputees alike.   This day’s score will be compiled on a scratch basis.

Saturday and Sunday’s events are for Amputees only.   Saturday’s round will pair amputees of all abilities, while Sunday’s pairing will be made up of amputees of equal abilities according to score.

Money raised from this event funds our College Scholarship fund and enables us to host clinics around the area to encourage more Amputees to participate in golf again or pick up clubs for the first time.
